August 29, 2015 Evoekore Media set up concert with a line-up of some of SoCal’s infamous ska and reggae bands, the location, Levitt Pavilion, at MacArthur Park. The cost of the event was show began with Pachamama Estela a band with a larger influence with reggae world roots as explained by 15 year expert on the SoCal scene Azael Hernandez.

For a band with 11 years, their soul desire is to deliver a form of musical remedy for their fans and listeners to use a form of Zen against today’s trials and tabulations of modern day society and life as a whole. Pachamama Estela has performed at such five star entertainment venues such as House of Blues on Sunset and The House of Blues in Disney, The Roxy and has been featured in such festivals as the Sun God Festival. According to Lead Vocals/Guitarist: Guillermo Tejeda, Their message is as old as time and as simple, There is no stronger weapon than love.

Ska kid Shea Willard sitting on the side of the stage lets out a yell, Los Chiles Verdes! As to alert a warning, curious question of the sound of Los Chiles Verdes begin to slowly fester. As if facial expressions given gave Ms. Willard the green light to explain what to expect. She stated it is the sound of Southern California. Their sound is a mixture of Cumbia, reggae, ska, and punk rock as if on queue Los Chiles Verdes began to perform. The rhythm had fans of all ages forming a circle of guys and girls skanking to the music. Skin on skin pushing against one another in a slam pit when the tunes turned more punk or metal. In a perfect harmony of no violence and the key, the entire event was based on a donation base.
Today ska and punk music lovers can find their independent labels, bands, and promotion companies. Giving the fans to pay the worth of the albums, merchandise and even the events. One may ask how much can they be earning. Totally, the RSVP topped at 958 individuals and the night ending with close to 3,500. Evoekore Media admits that reasons why all the events are featured at Parks or large areas are that they end in high numbers. The most important fact is that everyone gets alone. In fact, after the event that night, everyone was invited to do watch Netflix for the after party.

Azael Hernandez, explain that the shows run on a social media, word of mouth and by fans to bands involvement. He continued, if you are visiting in SoCal just look for LA Shows and you can find shows all weekend long. Some free some as low a three dollars. It my seem low priced however, it truly is not everyone from labels, production companies, bands and more importantly the fans are all happy. The fans know that the music is going to the bands the bands know that all property ownership of the music belongs to them. This might just be the birth ot the music industry of the future.
